For pies, try Snohomish Pie Co. (orders close Nov 19) or Pie Dive Bar. For full dinners, try Scott's in Edmonds, Shawn O'Donnell's in Everett or Town & Country in Mill Creek. To volunteer, start with Everett Gospel Mission or Snohomish Community Food Bank.
There is no single right way to do Thanksgiving. Some of us want to cook from sunrise to sundown. Some of us want to buy the pie and call it a contribution. And some of us would rather spend the day filling someone else's plate.
All valid. So I rounded up three lanes for Thanksgiving in Snohomish County this year: grab a pie, order the whole dinner, or give back. Each one comes with the details that matter, like order deadlines, pickup days and who to contact.
One honest note before you dig in. Holiday pre-orders and volunteer shifts in Snohomish County fill up fast, and most of the deadlines below land in the next two weeks. Pick your lane early, and Thanksgiving week gets a lot calmer. Thanksgiving 2026 falls on Thursday, November 26.
You're bringing dessert, or hosting and happy to let someone else handle the crust. These two Snohomish bakeries take holiday orders, but you have to order ahead.
Where: 915 1st St, Snohomish, and 5602 232nd St SW, Mountlake Terrace Order by: Thursday, November 19, or until they sell out Pickup: Tuesday, November 24 or Wednesday, November 25
Thanksgiving pies at Snohomish Pie Co. are pre-order only. Each flavor has a set number of slots based on oven space, so when a pickup date disappears from the order page, that flavor is gone. The November 19 deadline is the latest you can order, not a promise your favorite will still be there.
Pro tip: Order this week. If you can, pick up on Tuesday. That's one less errand on Wednesday, when every grocery store parking lot in Snohomish County turns into a contact sport.
Where: 921 1st St, Snohomish (a few doors down from Snohomish Pie Co.) How to order: Whole pies online
Pie Dive Bar does sweet pies, plus a savory Thanksgiving pot pie with turkey, stuffing and cranberries baked right in. It's basically the whole holiday plate with a crust on top, which makes it a smart pick for a smaller gathering or the day-after leftovers you didn't have to make.
Pro tip: Check their ordering page for holiday pickup times before you plan your route through downtown Snohomish.
You want the full spread without three days of prep and a sink full of roasting pans. These Snohomish County spots will handle the turkey and sides, and one will even let you eat out.
A heads-up that applies to all of them: take-home holiday meals usually come cold, with reheating instructions. Plan your oven time the way you would plan your cooking, and you'll have everything hot at once.
Where: 8115 Lake Ballinger Way, Edmonds Order by: 4 PM, Friday, November 20 Pickup or delivery: Tuesday, November 24 or Wednesday, November 25
Scott's offers turkey or prime rib family meals that serve three to four, with sides and pumpkin pie included. Two pickup days give you some flexibility, and delivery is an option if your Wednesday is already full. Details are listed in ParentMap's 2026 Thanksgiving roundup.
Where: 122 128th St SE, Everett Phone: 425.338.5700 Full details: shawnodonnells.com/thanksgiving
Shawn O'Donnell's gives you two ways to skip the cooking: let them serve you on the day, or bring the whole spread home the night before.
Thanksgiving dine-in, Thursday, November 26 Adults $29.99, kids $15.99. The plate includes herb roasted turkey, traditional sausage dressing, Irish mashed potatoes, salted caramel yams, green beans, whole cranberry sauce and turkey gravy, with pumpkin pie or bread pudding for dessert. Reserve your table and select November 26.
Platters to go, pickup Wednesday, November 25 $129, feeds five, ready to heat at home. Includes herb roasted turkey, traditional sausage dressing, Irish mashed potatoes, salted caramel yams, green bean casserole, whole cranberry sauce, turkey gravy and O'Donnell's soda bread. Add a bread pudding platter or Emerald Salad for $35 each. Order your Everett platter and select November 25.
Pro tip: If you're feeding more than five, the math on two platters versus a dine-in table is worth a minute with a calculator. Dine-in also means someone else does the dishes, which is hard to put a price on.
Where: Mill Creek Town Center Order by: 4 PM, Wednesday, November 25 (subject to availability) Pickup: Sunday, November 22 through Thursday, November 26 How to order: Online through the Town & Country Markets order site, or call 206.222.9530, ext. 7
This is the flexible option. Reserve the whole turkey dinner, or just the sides and pies if someone in your house insists on roasting the bird. It's also the easiest stop for Mill Creek and Bothell neighbors who want to grab the last few groceries on the same trip.
Not sure what to order? Town & Country is holding a holiday preview tasting at the Mill Creek store on Friday, November 13, from noon to 4 PM. It's a low-stakes way to taste the sides before you commit to feeding a table full of opinions.
The late deadline is handy if your headcount changes at the last minute, but "subject to availability" is doing real work in that sentence. Popular items can sell out before November 25, so order early if you have your heart set on something specific.
Pro tip: Ask about reheating times when you pick up, then work backward from when you want to eat.
For some people, the best part of Thanksgiving is the part that happens outside their own kitchen. These Snohomish County organizations count on volunteers during the holidays, and their shifts fill early. Reach out now, not the night before.
Where: Smith Campus, 3711 Smith Ave, Everett Roles: Meal prep and plating, serving and greeting guests, setup and cleanup Ages: 14 and up with a parent or guardian Sign up: Holiday meal service registration
Everett Gospel Mission serves holiday meals to neighbors experiencing homelessness, and every one runs on volunteers. The Thanksgiving 2026 date hadn't been posted as of this writing, so check their holiday meal page and register as soon as it opens. Their own page says spaces fill quickly.
Where: 1330 Ferguson Park Rd, Snohomish Sign up: snohomishfoodbank.org
The food bank relies on about 140 volunteers to pick up, sort, record and distribute food for neighbors in the Snohomish area. It's a good fit if you'd rather help in the days before Thanksgiving and keep the holiday itself at home.

Homage volunteers prep and deliver hot Thanksgiving dinners to homebound seniors around Snohomish County. Delivery routes are a good option if you have a car and a couple of free hours on the holiday. Email or call to ask about this year's shifts.
Where: 22901 Edmonds Way, Edmonds Contact: 425.775.2776
Westgate Chapel's free community Thanksgiving dinner has run on more than 500 volunteers. Call the church to ask about this year's dinner and how to join a team.
Pro tip: If your Thanksgiving Day is already spoken for, ask about the days before. Food banks and meal programs often need the most help with sorting, packing and prep earlier in the week.
Most Snohomish County Thanksgiving deadlines land in the week before the holiday, and the pie deadline comes first.
Details were gathered from each business's and organization's published information in early November 2026 and can change. Please confirm directly before you order or show up.
When do I need to order Thanksgiving pies in Snohomish County? Snohomish Pie Co. closes holiday pre-orders on November 19, 2026, or earlier if flavors sell out. Ordering in the first half of November gives you the best shot at your pick and your preferred pickup day.
Where can I order a Thanksgiving dinner to go near Mill Creek, Edmonds or Everett? Town & Country Market in Mill Creek takes holiday dinner reservations, Scott's Bar & Grill in Edmonds offers turkey and prime rib family meals, and Shawn O'Donnell's in Everett offers take-home platters that feed five (pickup November 25) and Thanksgiving Day dining. Most to-go meals arrive cold with reheating instructions.

Whether you're picking up a pie, reheating someone else's turkey or serving a plate across town, the goal is the same: less scrambling and more time with the people at your table. Save this post and send it to whoever's hosting. They'll thank you, or at least stop texting you about the pie.
Who did I miss? If you have a favorite Snohomish County pie spot or holiday volunteer group, send me a note and I'll add it to next year's list.
And if a different kitchen is on your list for next Thanksgiving, I'm happy to talk it through whenever you're ready. No pressure and no pitch. Schedule a time to chat or call me at 206.920.6500.
